Aberfoyle is a quiet rural village offering an idyllic country lifestyle. We are a traditional country butcher with all the old fashioned values associated with that image….however, far from standing still, we have recently started a complete refurbishment of our premises.

The whole shop has been totally dismantled and rebuilt, completely fit-for-purpose, enabling us to prepare and offer to the highest standard, the best produce available.

All preparation is conducted in front of the customer, demonstrating our pride in our methods, and enabling preparation to the customer’s own individual requirements. The design of the shop is such that we have an uninterrupted workflow, total product and process separation, and ease of cleaning, ensuring that the highest standards of hygiene are met at all times, as well as complying with Health & Safety requirements. Another key factor is the use of products which not only meet, but also surpass all legal requirements, and which come, where possible, from renewable sources. Energy efficient equipment has also been selected for use in the shop, right down to lighting.

However, this is just the first step, and we have many more ideas and projects for the future….
