All wild…furred & feathered….

The term game was derived from the words amusement/sport. However we strongly believe we should not shoot for sport alone. We must be aware of the ecological balance when shooting game and the effects on its habitat.

Game live and feed freely, giving us a healthy food, and opening up a range of new and different textures and flavours to experience. This meat often has a ‘gamey’ flavour which is reflective of its lifestyle and the foods it consumes…. really showing off nature.

Game falls into two categories: Furred (ground) and Feathered (winged), and both are worth trying. We source our game from estates across Scotland, and we may have on offer Deer to Rabbit, or Pheasant to Mallard. Game is a very seasonal product but there will always be some game in season.
